Despite the somewhat ludicrous circumstances of their meeting, we actually found ourselves feeling pretty positive about Jack and Lucy’s possibilities.

He’s closer to his family’s blue collar roots than his snooty brother, and she’s about as down to earth as you can get.  Their senses of humor match and they both have similar goals and beliefs.  Both are quiet, honest and forthright (ok, once you get past her lie about being Peter’s fiancee).

They both want to travel but neither is an adventure seeker, once they take that long-awaited trip to Italy they’ll probably settle down, have a few kids, and live in the neighborhood.  Both dearly love his family and we can see her fitting right in there.  They’re one of those rare couples that would be perfectly happy buying the house right next door to his parents, spending Friday night dinners together, and having their kids hanging out with grandma and grandpa after school.

We think Lucy and Jack have what it takes to make it to the end of the line.
