This couple was a request from Sakinah, our biggest fan!

Whether it’s meant to last or not, this is definitely one of the hottest connections we’ve ever seen on the screen. Jack Foley and Karen Sisco are both physically beautiful and incredibly sexy, and the chemistry between them is so strong you can actually feel it coming off the plasma. Neither of them is flashy, both are relatively quiet but clearly strong, and with a sensuality that simmers just below the surface. She seems a bit more confident than him – he still gets that lost little boy look from time to time – and probably a degree or two smarter. We can’t really see her robbing a bank without making first sure the getaway car had a full tank of gas. Of course, dating her married co-worker and falling for a convicted felon are probably not particularly sensible life choices for a federal marshal. But both Jack and Karen are still clever enough for some great repartee.

Theirs will clearly be a great romance; full of passion, the kind both will always look back on, the kind they’ll tell their grandkids about, even long after they’re in their second marriages. But we don’t know if we can see them staying together forever. It’s true they seem compatible in many ways. Both like adventure, and neither is afraid to stand up for themselves even against the most intimidating of bullies. But her relationships aside, Karen seems to live by a fairly strict code, and we just don’t know if she is going to allow herself to stay tied a bank robber for long, particularly if mini marshals are on her radar.

We definitely see them continuing their romance, and perhaps even trying marriage for a time (after he gets out). Karen is clearly frustrated with the bureaucracy and politics of the US Marshals so is perhaps ready for a change. If they do marry she’ll want to keep it under wraps though; they’ll most likely run off to an island somewhere and have a simple ceremony with just her dad and Buddy. They’ll move somewhere new and start over. They’ll have a fiery honeymoon and an exciting first year of marriage. We have a terrible feeling, though, that despite her smarts Karen is one of those women that believes deep down that her man is going to change. But he won’t, not now anyway. Eventually he’ll pull one job too many, and she’ll call it quits. They’ll both re-marry people that will give them a quieter life; passionless perhaps, but contented.
