We here at The Reel Thing have certain questions we ask ourselves when evaluating a couple’s RT potential.  We invite you to consider the following about your favorite twosomes:

reel1 How long do you see them together for?
reel1 Do you see them getting married?
reel1 Do you see them having kids?
reel1 Do you see them together as an older couple?  Doing what?
reel1 How do you see them in 20 years?  Happy or miserable?
reel1 And most importantly…If you were friends with one or both of them, would you be happy for them?  Or trying your best to talk them out of it?

The Reel Scale

0 Reels – No way are these two a match. They won’t even make it through the credits.
1 Reel – They’ll make it through the credits, but probably not to the sequel.
2 Reels – Inexplicable, but let them have their fun.  For 5 minutes.
3 Reels – They have a 50/50 shot.  Which may result in a 50/50 split of the assets.
4 Reels – They have a good chance.  If they don’t screw it up.
5 Reels – These two are The Reel Thing.
