In honor of Leslie Nielsen, whom we loved.

Lt. Frank Drebin is investigating the shooting, stabbing, burning and painting of his partner, Nordberg. During the course of his work he meets Jane Spencer, the lovely assistant to the wealthy businessman – and eventual suspect – Vincent Ludwig. The two are immediately attracted to each other, and why not? They could not be more perfect for each other.

In those first few moments of their meeting you might not think so. Jane appears poised, mysterious, glamorous – everything the bumbling Frank is not. But after that tumble down the stairs it becomes clear – these two were made for each other.

Frank is taken by her beauty and sensuality. As for Jane, for all her acquired sophistication, she really just wants a nice, decent guy that loves her. But more than anything else, these two are just too goofy not to be together. They walk the same; they talk the same. Both are kind and clumsy. Both love baseball. Both find the humor in tattoos and Platoon. And of course they have tremendous physical attraction, undimmed by modern protection methods.

Shirley we cannot think of a couple more deserving of 5 reels.
